The Medical Equipment
and Diagnostics (MED) department sells capital medical equipment,
instrumentation and consumables through a direct sales force and
a network of more than 500 local area dealers throughout the country.
MED sales activities are supported by the distribution and logistics
capabilities of the MPD Distribution
department.
| As the distributor for the clinical
laboratory systems of Ortho-Clinical Diagnostics (a Johnson
& Johnson company), Chindex has established a growing business
in instrumentation and follow-on sales of proprietary consumable
products. To expand its product offerings to clinical
laboratories, Chindex is now in the process of preparing to
introduce into the Chinese market numerous tabletop centrifuges
and laboratory analysis products manufactured by Iris Sample
Processing. |

offers sterlization equipment manufactured by Tuttnauer. Chindex
will soon introduce a range of CSSD sterilizers to compliment
its existing portfolio of tabletop autoclaves.

the broad and growing business of aesthetic health technologies
in China. Candela aesthetic laser systems are sold to
dermatologists, plastic surgeons, family practitioners, OB/GYNs,
and general and vascular surgeons throughout China. |
